So we’re getting ready to send out the first Cara Austin CD promo – a package we’re sending to some people who might be interested in her CD and message. I spent a LONG time trying to make sure to find the right people to send the package to, and we have 50 people on the first list that are going to get the mailing.
All the pieces are on my dining room table and we’ll be assembling things this weekend. I thought I would show you some before and after pictures in case you’re interested. The black masks are what we spent a long time cutting out last week, as I mentioned in a previous post.
Have a great weekend everyone!
It’s late! I’m barely making this blog post before the stroke of midnight, which is always my goal. There are many reasons for this, but the one that you’ll care about the most is the I’ve been working all day on getting the first big Cara Austin promotional mailing done. It will be going out very soon. I’ll post some pictures as soon as I find a camera to use (Cara’s borrowed mine for her trip!)
I am totally bummed because I wanted to include an audio file here, but I can’t get it to upload. This link goes to a page where you can listen to the Tupuri language being spoken. Click on the link on the page that says “Listen now!” with the little megaphone icon to hear it. So cool!
When I read the email that Cara forwarded me that they are going to be showing movies in 4 languages in which THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A MOVIE SHOWN BEFORE – well, that’s amazing.
Here are the languages, for all of you who are interested:
- Tupuri
- Guiziga
- Gbaya
- Peve

You can search by location and see all the photos that have been tagged with that locale. Check it out.

I just found this cool thing with Google maps, which is that you can see pictures placed on the map – to see real-life items that are in the place on the map that you’re going. Here’s the link to the Cameroon map. I’ll post some of the pictures, too.

This is a picture of Cameroon, I guess that this is the area of the country that Cara will be in when she’s there. She sent me this picture today and I thought I would share because it is so incredibly cool looking. Thanks for all of your prayers everyone who is praying – Cara is starting to get excited rather than scared now.
